Awesome Beach access! Great place to enjoy the Kiawah Island beach.
My favorite beach.
Pretty standard beach but quiet. That’s why it gets the fourth star. Even at its busiest time, me and my wife were able to relax alone without anyone close enough to bother us.
$15 to park. Rarely crowded. Well kept amenities. Beautiful beach with tidal pools perfect for the little ones. Dog friendly. What more could you ask for?
Beautiful beach. The day my family went, the waves were a little rough but the kids enjoyed it nontheless. The only downside is that there is limited park which you have to pay to park, and the ramp down to the beach is very narrow for 2 way traffic.
Parking is only $10 Monday-Friday and $15 on the weekends. Well worth it for a day at this amazing beach! I recommend purchasing the Charleston County Parks year pass. If you're going to make multiple trips here!
Beautiful beach, family atmosphere, pets allowed (LOTS of dogs here), two doggy bag stations, showers, restrooms. Only possible drawbacks: long boardwalk to the beach, so possibly difficult for those with limited mobility; gates close at posted times and there's no vehicle access after that point, though you can still come in via bicycle or on foot.
